do you plan on talking about john and how he feels at the endgame? everyone in homestuck had issues or losses at the beginning that they managed to gain by the end. john already had everything going for him. a dad, a life, a bright future. everything was taken away from him. yet he continues to just cover his issues up, not having a coping mechanism like all the other kids. he never experienced having to fight or kill, to see the death of a family member. there are still issues he must overcome

i def want to talk about it, but I kinda feel like there’s only so much to say until we see how, exactly, John’s issues manifest/potentially even resolve themselves in the epilogue.

The story isn’t over, and John–like Vriska, Terezi, the ghosts, and Gamzee–is an area of the story I don’t really feel I have a hard grasp on without having the context of the epilogue, since I’m not 100% certain what Homestuck is trying to say.

You may remember my good friend Vincent who I have spoken about many times because of their overwhelming generosity in trying to help me move somewhere better for my declining health. They are an absolutely incredible person who saw my story about being terminally ill and immediately reached out to help a stranger. Whether or not this is possible anymore, their kindness has changed my life and they have helped me through some extremely difficult times. And I desperately want to help them because they deserve better than this.

Vincent recently graduated with a master’s degree in an extremely promising field, and came home to discover that their mother stole their identity, racked up 40k in debt under their name, destroyed their credit score, and is now trying to prevent them from escaping by stealing and hiding their passport and legal documents from them. The police are involved. Vincent worked to the bone trying to escape from an extremely abusive mother only to discover that she was actively trying to destroy all of their hard work and prevent them from finding freedom.

I cannot emphasize how illegal this is and how involved the police are, but now Vincent has no money, and needs a lot of it to fix their future and escape. Right now, there are a lot of documents that need to be collected from the credit card companies, but Vincent’s volatile mother actively searches through and reads their mail. Vincent needs to raise $102 dollars IMMEDIATELY to get a P.O. box to safely receive those documents and forward them to law enforcement, and as much money as possible for the upcoming cost of hiring a lawyer. There is no way forward without a lawyer.

In short, an amazing person had their identity and legal documents stolen by their abusive mother who racked up 40k in debt under their name and is trying to ruin their life for her own benefit and prevent them from escaping. Please help. Vincent worked so hard and is so amazing. They got a Master’s. They are looking into getting a PHD. They are wonderful and do not deserve any of this please help and signal boost

Oh actually I missed this one. He was in a bad row with Dirk so he scribbled it over because he got it as a matching tattoo with Dirk, but then didn’t like the scribble and/or still felt bad about Dirk, so he made a displeased face.

Sometimes teens do things on impulse that they later regret, even if “later” is just a couple seconds. Thats Just The Way!

I’ll keep it short. I think you’re not recieving most of my asks. (Not blaming you but like what are we gonna do)

I’ve never seen a single ask from you that I recognize other than a couple of dirkjake ones, and I tend to answer those because…you hit my weak spot, which is dirkjake.

But I have gotten a lot of asks from anons saying something similar. Those may have been you? I have no idea, and I don’t know what to do about it since nowadays I get WAY too many asks to even answer them all, let alone sort them by person and whatnot.

Wish I could be more helpful but all I can really say is, keep trying to send them? Oh and I very rarely answer asks like “can you help classpect me or what would x classpect do” because I don’t see much of a practical reason to do so, so there’s that in case thats the kind of ask you’ve been sending.

Especially if you sent it on anon, I get so many asks to that effect that I don’t even know how to start trying to respond anymore. I could spend all day on tumblr just trying to keep up, and unfortunately for all of us (unless you like watching my videos) I got Shit To Do.
