So i was wondering if you were an heir or a mage. All your art shows you as a mage but your social media bio says you are an heir

i saw myself as a mage most of my life, and recently came to a new understanding of myself as an heir. but my obsession with playing the part of a mage is still a part of my psyche, so i still feel very close to the class to the point that i’d say i roleplay it almost constantly.

my recent art doesn’t actually show me as a mage, it just has the mage shirt with the little swirls (which I like a lot). It also has the long heir hood, so it’s a combination of the two.

I only just realized that Pearl has built herself around layers of trauma, which is literally how pearls are created.

i fon’t remember pearl going through trauma unless you mean when that guy shook her hand and she said she was never going to wash it again and then bubble buddy touched it and washer it off?

Pearl from SU has gone through a ton of trauma, though. We literally see Steven dive into the layers of it in A Single Pale Rose. Losing Rose, experiencing a literal apocalypse that destroyed the minds of almost all the crystal gems she used to know, knowing hers was the hand that “shattered” Pink Diamond and CAUSED THAT APOCALYPSE, and not to mention being forced to lie about it all for millennia by the person she loved most in the world???

Pearl’s entire arc in the show has been about her processing her grief and trauma.

Hey, I was wondering if you have any analysis of Rose around anywhere. She’s one of the central characters I know the least about in terms of depth and I’d really love to change that!

I definitely do, though i haven’t give them the full treatment they deserve the way I have with Dirkjake/Davekat yet because there’s still angles to Rose I’m trying to puzzle out, with regards to Cetus.

I’d check out my medium page cause I think that’s where I posted Lilith in Starlight, which is a look at every endgame relationship in Homestuck and how Light imagery shows up in them, designating them as Important/Fortunate/True.

I also wrote some posts on Tumblr about tactical ommissions and a post about their relationship for rosemary month? So, I was thinking, isn’t it bad to ship them if Jake is supposed to marry Jane? Or is he not supposed to anymore??? Yeah, sorry if I’m annoying you with all this I hope I didn’t sound rude or anything.

i’m not sure i follow. jake isnt supposed to marry anyone except who he wants, and he wanted to date dirk, not jake. i’d guess you might be conflating Jake with Grandpa, who was technically prophecized to marry Nanna? But i personally think that got fulfilled a different way, and anyway Grandpa and Jake are two different people living two different lives. you’re gonna have to expand on the nature of the perceived problem
