Besides being excellent analytical work (Brows Held High is excellent) and a poignant look into a fascinating piece of art produced by the AIDS crisis, BLUE is also a weirdly fascinating look into the color Blue as it relates to the Void aspect, as experienced by a random artist with no relationship to Homestuck. Odd, but true.

im 99% sure ive talked about wp making a dirkjake character action game (like devil may cry 3 or bayonetta) before but now im thinking about the absolute romp of carnage and devastation that would be a character action game where you play as rose lalonde and kanaya  maryam 

a dirkjake one would be a bloodless SNES pixelated style beat em up with cheesy sound effects and gag weapons like the simpsons arcade game meets Bad Dudes meets Turtles in Time for some pistol whipping pizza flinging rough and tumble horse assery in the glass shard spattered weedy parking lot behind Whataburger

a rosemary one would be a darkly beautiful 1080p 60fps aesthetic romp with hand drawn sprites depicting horrifying purple blooded tentacle monsters splorching gore and smearing viscera across the camera lens while the erstwhile protagonists perform a mesmerizing dance of carnage across the demon fields of the dark pit

in both games the protagonists dramatically dip each other and make out upon the successful completion of each level

Hey if you haven’t noticed, nothing scares the bad guys more than solidarity. Like literally nothing. That’s why all they ever do is try and split us up. They try and turn the LGBT community against the Muslim community. They try and turn lesbians against trans women. Lauren Southern was just caught spreading Islamophobic pamphlets that were blatantly attempting to paint the Muslim community as homophobic and transphobic. TERFs are constantly trying to paint lesbians who support trans women as somehow fake or less than.

Every time you show solidarity and stand with your neighbors and friends, you do a serious frighten to the folks trying to kill us all. So always stand up for each other.

What are your opinions on the idea of Ardata being space-bound? I was listening to random music, and it turns out the theme she uses is “Breeding Duties” from the Homestuck bandcamp, obviously referring to frog breeding

I’m putting it down as a solid “maybe” at the minute. The other main guesses I’m hearing are that she’s Mindbound (her iii quirk suggesting one of the Mind signs visually) or Voidbound (by dint of her hidden sign).

I haven’t yet had a run of the game that left me with anything I can point to as linked to one or another Aspect in particular. Class-ways she sorta almost parses as a Witch or maybe a Sylph roleplaying a Witch, but on the Aspect end I’m just not committed to any reading of her yet.
