Things have been going pretty good on my end! That said I don’t really think I’ve done any videos that are really sad, personally? The earthbound one seemed to be received that way but I meant it entirely as a love letter to the game and its ability to make a grim time one of the best of my life.

I think my life has been p great. I wouldn’t change the rough parts, because they led me to feel this way today. That continues to be the case! And thanks for asking, I hope things are going swell for you, too 🙂

Nah wakaba just refers to Utena that way as a “joke”, they’re legitimately just Bros. I don’t like the manga much but there’s a panel where wakaba even says that since anthy and Utena now seem married, she’ll be the “mistress”

That said anthy/wakaba/Utena is real and good and has heavy janeroxcallie energies. The thing about Utena is that she is very much a John-esque protagonist, heroic but clueless and oblivious, especially about her sexuality.

She finds both wakaba and anthys addressing her with romantic terms odd, if not off-putting early on. This is part of the point

also? be warned that what goes down in Utena is going to make cheating look pretty. Mind the trigger warnings if that kind of thing might set you off
