I’ll be streaming some Q&A and playing a couple Friendsim paths (including Stelsa or Boldir, but not both) tonight, from 8:30PM EST to around 10:00PM EST.
Short notice, I know, sorry. I’m not in a position to stream regularly, and the opportunity to do so tonight came up on really short notice. But you guys are awesome and I get asked about livestreams pretty often, so when I realized I had the opportunity, I decided to go for it.

this was going to be in act 3, then i got impatient and made it the EOA2 cutscene but it still cut off too early to be a full release and i just really liked it so i wanted you guys to hear it now instead of later.
i used it for boldir because it fit her whole aesthetic, but this song was originally written for a scene where joey and xefros are on the run. having been hardened by their journey they hit the streets. it was meant to be a really sort of somber realization of just how terrible alternia is. like when you’re in the uber on the way home from the bar and one of you almost died and its like we… should stop doing this…
I LOVE the mood of the transistor soundtrack and you might notice this drum beat and title are a very obvious nod to the song “Old Friends” (though someone else named it, years ago) I was specifically instructed “make it sound like this song” but since then I have worked to make it sound like more my own thing. you can see the influence of that soundtrack on all my work, though. the slow driving half-time beat. the airy reverb on chordal tones. the dirty bass. originally meant as a placeholder i never got over how the beat drops the backbeat on every other 4. I could dweeb out about this for hours.
theres some nonsense about how im getting replaced or w/e. i will never die actually. we’re basically just on hiatus rn, which is implied by the announcements, but when production starts again it will still be me. in the mean time gotta pay those bills though. so. anyway don’t worry. i love this series and the fans too much to give up on it, but i know how impatient everyones gotta feel so i’m… trying to give as much of it to you as i can. thanks friends.

This time, we talk about Ectobiology. Hope this clears things up for some of you! I actually can’t count the times I’ve been surprised to hear someone say Jake and Jane having feelings for each other was weird because they’re “related” (they’re not).
Let me know if you’d find videos on Homestuck’s canon relationships interesting! I’d definitely love to make them, so if enough people want them I may do so sooner rather than later.
