Might Amisia be roleplaying a Sylph of Void? Sylphs heal and create; she heals the player through a hole in the wall, and her attempts to create produce only nothing.

not too far off, imo! I think she’s innately a Maid of Mind, and roleplaying a Page–the healing stuff she seems to do pretty well, but she’s pretty intensely committed to leveraging her blood status to have people help her. You, the drones, the guards who bring her the Olive, chahut…

I view her inability to create as Void’s influence on her. I suspect she’s suppressing any potential creativity as a side effect of her fixation on the hemospectrum and power-Void being the aspect of material reality as well as nothingness, I can see it manifesting as an inability to connect to idealistic endeavors like art.

can’t say i’m sure about it, though. All these grey areas are awfully exciting, gotta say.

Friendsim vol 2 thoughts real quick before I get back to work

Amisia is pretty interesting. Fairly convinced she’s a Maid of Mind, though she’s got arguably more Void coding than Mind coding, which makes sense since she’s an Indigo blood. Healing you through blank holes in the wall, being a “fake” painter, struggling with the creative/imagination part of art, the super strength, so on.

Cirava strikes me as an Heir. They have some Doom influence, despite being a Hope player–suffering and it’s commiserating acceptance obviously has some resonance with their arc, they even say the word “suffering” dramatically at one point if I remember right.

Reason I say Heir is because their role is pretty much entirely to change you for your benefit. When they try to do so directly, it leads to the bad callout post ending. When they take the more passive approach of letting you change yourself, you end up in the good ending.

Interestingly, Hope with Cirava is all about fashion, and making yourself desirable and interesting to a broad audience. I’ll probably have more to say about the Hope angle later, but honestly the fact that both these trolls are linked to the aspect of their Caste as well as their true sign is the most interesting part of all this to me right now. @wakraya‘s true sign caste theory is going strong.

Have you played part two of Hiveswap yet, if so what classpects do you think Amisia and Cirava are? (My bets for Amisia are either sylph of mind or maid of mind, because of the healing she did to the player’s arm, and I want to say that Cirava is a knight of hope, for reasons that are a bit more of a spoiler, if you haven’t played, but I’m not that great at analysis, so who knows lol.)

Amisia struck me as a Maid, yeah. Interestingly I feel like she’s got more Void coding than Mind at this point–healing you through the holes in her wall, being a “fake”/unreal painter, etc. Her actions to lead to some pretty Mindy- tangents, though, like MSPA Reader briefly trying to meditate/center themselves or going on that rambly thought-stream while bleeding out.

Cirava I’m not certain about, but there’s a lot of the word Change in their playthroughs so I’m inclined to see them as an Heir, or maybe Witch–though the fact that the MSPA Reader benefits from their changes more than they themselves do leans me towards Heir.

Not sure, though. I’ve only had the time to play through the game once, so I’ll probably have more to say after later playthroughs.
