did you see that ardata and marvus got their signs revealed on the new trollcall page? does this change the analysis you had of them in any way?

yeah! i mean i didnt really feel married to an aspect for ardata but i was closest to Blood, so this is interesting. Doom makes a good amount of sense in retrospect.

Obvs Marvus I had pegged for Blood too, which turned out to be wrong! That’s really interesting, since it changes a lot of the conceptions I had about him and Boldir. Still inclined to see him as a Lord, but obviously the overlap with Caliborn also makes me doubt it.

I’m entirely rethinking both counts, but that’s fine by me because it makes things more interesting :B Makes me glad i held off making videos on them before we found out for sure mostly.

Not to burst your bubble but what Daraya said creates a problem regarding jadebloods: if they aren’t allowed to contribute genetic material, how do more of them appear? My theory, based on my own reading of the comic, is that they’re only allowed to do so on the very day they come of age, but what do you think?

she was talkin about cloistered jadebloods, i believe, basically jade nuns devoted to breeding duties most likely.

it seems likely some jadebloods are still allowed to go off-planet, where they can probably still contribute. also they’re still allowed to pail/contribute before reaching adulthood, which is fucked up but its alternia so what isnt

do you think there is a motive that we didnt befriend any Sea dweller in friendsim?i just cant belive that is because “they live in the sea” or something like that. now that we can feel that we are reaching some type of the climax for the story, i cant think that they will just give us just more characters e more friendsim so i’m afraid and excited

they already implied there’d be other “rounds” of friendsims later, and linked it to seadwellers with a pun. its just narrative and thematic pacing at work; the seadwellers are the ruling class that controls alternia, so it makes sense to get to know the world they victimize before we try to engage with them directly. especially since seadwellers are some of the castes we know least about and judging by the friendsim so far they’ll come with hella lore
