hey so i have a question for ya. im fairly confident im a maid of space, but theres certain aspects of my life that lead me to wonder if im a prince of time, and i just think im a space player because it thats what i give off (like how dirk acted like a mind player but was a prince of heart). is there any way to like, tell the difference? between whether im a space player or a prince of time?

I’d say just go with whichever one you like more/the one that makes you feel best and most inspired about yourself and your own potential. if you change your mind later thats ok too. it’s for fun, so have fun with it! 🙂

Why does each kid have their respective species of consorts? Curious, because it is notable that they are different from each other.

all i’ve ever really thought about them is that they’re different species of cute, colorful amphibians that seem like the kind of thing a kid would like. i don’t really think theres some deep symbolism behind them or anything as of right now–they’re just fun npcs in some vague need of rescuing.

I have a question about the aspects, do the symbols associated with them change depending on perspective or did I misunderstand that?

i’m not super sure what you mean by this question. aspects in canon tend to be linked to roughly the same symbols across the adventure, though they’re basically all linked to more than one symbol.

There’s also symbols/entities that link to more than one aspect, like the Green Sun (Light/Space), the Horrorterrors (Life/Void), or Lord English (Time/Void/Rage/Heart).

I think Ardata might be a Witch of Blood or at least roleplaying one. She has many references to blood like “bloodthirsty on main” on her troll call card and her bloodsucking tick lusus. Her familiar might be the pressures and expectations of society put on her due to her blood caste and what higher castes will do if those expectations aren’t met, thus having her be changed by it. She also says that the protag is the only one who has legit tried to befriend her (have a bond). What do you think

I can see it. This is the first time I’ve seen her relationship to her viewers expressed in Blood terms–I’ve had friends suggest them as a Mind Familiar–and at this point I can see it going either way. Blood would definitely tie into her tick, though, so yeah it’d be a logical read.

Still not sure about anything with her, but I’ve added this interpretation to my list to consider. Thanks for the insight!

Have you played part two of Hiveswap yet, if so what classpects do you think Amisia and Cirava are? (My bets for Amisia are either sylph of mind or maid of mind, because of the healing she did to the player’s arm, and I want to say that Cirava is a knight of hope, for reasons that are a bit more of a spoiler, if you haven’t played, but I’m not that great at analysis, so who knows lol.)

Amisia struck me as a Maid, yeah. Interestingly I feel like she’s got more Void coding than Mind at this point–healing you through the holes in her wall, being a “fake”/unreal painter, etc. Her actions to lead to some pretty Mindy- tangents, though, like MSPA Reader briefly trying to meditate/center themselves or going on that rambly thought-stream while bleeding out.

Cirava I’m not certain about, but there’s a lot of the word Change in their playthroughs so I’m inclined to see them as an Heir, or maybe Witch–though the fact that the MSPA Reader benefits from their changes more than they themselves do leans me towards Heir.

Not sure, though. I’ve only had the time to play through the game once, so I’ll probably have more to say after later playthroughs.

Im trying to figure out my friends classpects and im able to see tons of options, any tips based on the class roles/personality things to help me narrow it down?

i always find it hard to classpect someone else because, unlike a character, you’re unlikely to have an objective and clear view at all of their actions and instincts. I find that classpecting for fandom/fun purposes is best done by the individual, because the most critical variable would be what your friend personally finds interesting.

Maybe show them the Archetypes if they’re interested, and see what they find compelling or enjoyable? That’s all I got rly
