Definitely yes and it would probably result in pretty bad conflict, but if Jake gets told about the Bro stuff then he won’t. It IS possible that given time/centuries Dave will eventually be comfortable with wrestling and roughousing, but I doubt he’d be interested in full-blown sparring like Jake and Dirk like to do. I do think sparring is an interest Karkat could pick up provided Dirk and Jake were encouraging and patient about it though!

I feel like Dave would try to play off Jake’s suggestions to this general effect as nonchalantly as possible because he doesn’t really want to make a big deal of it, but if Jake persisted (because he can be a little slow on the uptake in regards to other people’s feelings about shit he is doing, let’s be honest) Dave’s response would probably be to just easily and calmly get him into some kind of hold position and sit there like yeah!! isn’t this fun? I’m having hella fun rn bro how about you?? and then he just sits there and does whatever while Jake is flopping around trying to free himself shouting expletives and what have you. this is not sportly at all what the heck

jake & karkat probably wrestle all the time though. the striders are truly blessed
