Between Hiveswap and whatever Homestuck’s going to do with Viz Media, I think it’s only getting started. I’m happy about it coming back to the extent that it has, but I also can’t wait to see what comes next.

True! In actuality I’d say dreamselves/the dream moons relate to a lot of different aspects in different ways–hence why I said if I had to narrow it down to one or two.
For Jade I feel like the emphasis is on the enviroment she grew up in and how Prospit’s culture/Skaia’s influence shaped her own mind. Tavros is much more transparently about escapism/getting away from the physical world.
Writing your story with a dimension-hopping bad guy has gone horribly wrong: he’s gotten a copy of the finished thing, and meta knowledge has made him nearly all powerful. It’s up to you now to write yourself into the story and save the day by becoming the Hero of Legend: the Ultimate Mary Sue.
