WritScrib is a social media network for creators to come together and build their fanbase. Utilizing the concept of busking, we’re hoping to give new creators a supplementary salary by giving fans the ability to chip-in on individual posts in small amounts.

Here’s a few of our launch-day features!

Separate Feeds

Besides your main feed that shows the posts of the people you’re following, you can have tag feeds for the tags you love to follow and group feeds, all separated by tabs. No need for a side-blog when you can post to separate groups.

Groups

Do you really love Overwatch but only want to see Pharmercy? Do you love the ocean but hate how disorganized the tag is? Create your own group! You can make it public, or choose who to invite to the group. Posts can be tagged to be seen in the public tags, but if it’s posted untagged in a group no one but the group can see it.

Messaging

Message whoever you want, whenever you want in a tab just for them. Don’t want to get random messages? Don’t worry–you can disable it or set it to friends-only.

Level-Up

Buy Chips (or get them through your posts) to level up your account. Get access to more emoticons and a shinier badge. Are you a creator? You can set certain posts to only be visible after someone chips-in.

Earn

Each Chip is worth $0.10 USD. Once you’ve made at least $5 USD, you can withdraw it! Don’t want to link your paypal or bank account? You can spend those Chips on any posts that you want, or hoard them to level-up your account. Under 18? Don’t worry! Save up those Chips and get a windfall when you’re old enough to withdraw.

Open Communication

Got a good idea? Got a gripe? We’ll have a Feedback Group that anyone can join. The posts that are generating a lot of buzz will get taken into consideration and implemented if we’re capable (and if we’re not, we’ll let you know why).

There’s gonna be more, of course, but this is just a sample of what’s coming up.

im really sorry to have to make this post & ask for this, but i dont really have any options left

im a bisexual & chronically mentally ill college student struggling to make rent. i was hired by my current job at the end of april, but due to paperwork processing, they didn’t actually start me until the end of june. i haven’t paid june or july rent, and august is quickly coming up, and while i’m desperately hoping to take care of june w my next paycheck (i currently only have $300 in my account when each month is 750 + utilities), my lease is supposed to end in august, so being this late at this point is extremely bad.

in addition, i have a dog and cat, both which serve as my psychiatrist-prescribed emotional support animals, and they have fleas and are miserable, with my dog losing hair and showing signs of getting sick, and my cat’s 10 years old and not doing great with them either!

so, i’m asking for you guys to please, please help me out if you can! and if you can’t, please share this and try to get it to more people. my family has always struggled with money & rent so they aren’t able to help me at this point, or else I would have gone to them first, & i owe my ex 350+ from needing his help this past summer (and we had a bad break up after the money got that high, so i’m also anxious about paying him back)

so um this is all the money i have left to my name.

i really… really hate begging for money, but i’m at the point where i’m a mess, panicking, and not sure how to proceed.

i’ve been fighting with my insurance company for a good three months now, trying to get my prescription for Strattera to be authorised so I don’t have to pay 500$ a month for it, and so I can finally get back to work.

I am currently on effexor and it’s just ruining me. I sleep for about 16-18 hours a day on it and my psychiatrist will not listen to me when I say that it isn’t helping.

I need help. Again. And I’m ashamed to have to say it.

I’ll be moving into my parents’ house next month so I won’t have to be paying rent anymore, but I still have to pay:

– $3,000 in taxes because I am self-employed
– $130 a month for my phone bill
– $70~ a month for my car insurance

and… you know, there are other various expenses, too. I have to keep my cats fed, and myself, and I need to afford other necessities, so, um.

Here’s where I’m at.

I’m struggling, I have almost nothing, and more expenses are coming up. I’m going to have to rent a moving truck to get all of my stuff back to my parents.

And most of all, I still can’t work. I am unable to function because my insurance refuses to approve the prior authorization for the only medication i can have that will help my out of hand ADHD and depression. 

I am deeply embarrassed to be doing this because like… honestly, y’all have already helped me so much, and continue to do so, and I’m sick of being like this, but I just. I don’t have a choice.

I’m just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got it’s 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and it’s not just lead! it’s coliform bacteria! it’s THMs! it’s all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and it’s only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem

I would like to add that the people of Flint cannot sell their houses, because selling a house with leaded water is illegal. Additionally, households with children can’t stop paying for the water because living in a house without running water is cause for CPS to take their kids. Flint has been living this way for over two years. 

The people of Flint are trapped by the legal system. And it is only the most high profile case out many cities with a similar problem. 

Because the government has abandoned them, they are dependant on help from the outside. Donate here

I have known Momo ( @alotofmomos ) for years, and he has been nothing but kind, supportive, and empathetic. Last year, we met for the first time, and he pushed my wheelchair when I was too weak to walk. And as he learned, being in a wheelchair is much harder than it looks.

After witnessing first hand the struggles that disabled people go through on a daily basis, Momo, an engineering student, decided to take action. He researched his university and made one of the most important projects for his degree entirely about accessibility. After doing extensive research and asking for my input, he created a comprehensive plan to make life better for students on his campus. This was much to the dismay of staff members who defensively insisted that bare minimum ADA compliance was more than what disabled people deserved. They told Momo that his project was useless and laughed at him.

But he stood his ground anyway. He risked his grade and his entire degree on what we had experienced together and on the stories I shared of my own struggles with accessibility. He risked his freaking future to try and make life better for people like me, and to assert that not enough is being done.

But he needs your help. Due to unfortunate circumstances, it costs Momo $20 each way to get to his new internship. $40 a day. He is trying to find alternative options, but right now has to give up food to make it to work. Not only that, he does not have enough to pay for doctors to fix some painful medical issues. A paycheck would pay for the transportation at least, but his first paycheck is in a month.

In short: My good friend Momo, a disability rights advocate and all around amazing friend needs help. And honestly he deserves all the help he can get. If you can, please support him!

Even if the transportation gets figured out, he still needs help paying for food and medicine!

Actually look for a real therapist. Real therapy with a qualified therapist can run as little as $25 per exchange, or as low as $1.75 a minute. This is less than what she’s charging.

Sixpenceee is not qualified to provide these services, she studies biology. I have a masters degree in clinical psychology and am getting my Ph.D., have almost 800 hours of therapy experience, work for the school district and work at a hospital. I do not want to see people getting taken advantage of by someone who has made her career out of “mentally ill people are scary” – and I know this is what she does because I followed her for almost a year and unfollowed because I couldn’t take it anymore.
