Why cant both vikare and karako be pages of mind

It’s a possibility, but at the moment I’m assuming Hiveswap is trying to avoid classpect redundancies and so give us as much exposition on the system as possible.

Between the two, I think it’s likelier Karako is the true page, because Bronze might plausibly induce it’s caste members to roleplay Page anyway.

For similar reasons, I think it’s likelier Tagora is a true thief and Remele is roleplaying a thief but actually a different class.

There’s a lot of layers to pull apart between these characters and society, so I’m trying to think about it from a lot of angles at once as we try and figure things out.

How would a Page of Mind work? One who serves Mind, or serves others Mind for themselves? Is it like “Penny for your thoughts” kind of thing? Do they have strong opinions? I’ve very confused. What powers would they even have? Give ideas? Telekinesis sounds like an obvious thing, but what else? Pages have shown to be able to make mind constructs Could they build armies from their imagination? And what would they have to do to unlock this power? Come to what terms? What’s their quest about?

I can’t really give you answers that specific because a Page of Mind could develop all sorts of powers in all sorts of circumstances depending on how their story plays out. I will say I consider Vikare Ratite a likely Page of Mind, if you want an example of the Classpect.

Here’s a compilation of screencaps of the Friendsim trolls who’s loose Aspect traits I included in the Dammek video.

The Friendsims are seriously underrated. Not only are we learning about how Alternia’s brutal systems affect trolls on the ground level all over the hemospectrum, but pretty much every troll so far has included links to both their True Sign aspect and the aspect associated with their Blood Caste.

So far, this seems to lends credence to @wakraya‘s theory of the Blood Caste-Aspect link, which is pretty exciting! It’s hard to say how this dual-Aspect tension is meant to resolve, but I definitely can’t wait to learn more in Act 2 and future Friendsims.

Tetrarch Dammek is already one of Hiveswap’s most controversial characters, and he hasn’t even said a word yet. Lets see what we can learn about him using Classpects as a lens, and in the process explore how, and why, Alternia became the hellworld Joey comes to know.

I know I’ve been rather soft on him here, but let’s be clear: Dammek still really sucks for Xefros. Here’s hoping Xefros will learn to stand up for himself and Dammek will learn to treat his friends better during this adventure!

Today’s question: Do you think trolls who commit cruel deeds like Dammek, Trizza, Ardata and Zebruh are completely damned, even if they could never freely choose to be better?

Named after two flightless things with wings, but he’s Derse and Mind. What’s this guy’s deal..?

The desire for flight parses to me as a Breath motif, which would be the Aspect all bronzebloods are drawn to by their caste if @wakraya ‘s Troll Sign Caste theory is correct.

Dammek himself exhibits some strong Breath imagery despite being Bloodbound–the hoverpad he steals from Xefros has a breath blue beam, for example.

So this reference feels like it’s along the same lines of Chahut Maenad’s last name, which is a reference to the worship of Dionysus, even though she’s a Hope player.

Their names and aesthetics seem to reflect the Aspect/mythology that Alternian society pressures them into, as much as their own True Sign aspects.
