Tyzias entykk witch of blood

Again this is something I’ve been thinking about for a while, and I think I’ve finally figured it out

First her true sign is licer which is a prospit dreamer and blood bound, but the class is still a mystery.

The first thing we should when figuring out her class is how does she affect the world around her as well as her arcytype which I find both in the class witch.

Her speech is what hit me first, being linked to her tired nature. She also has a desire to CHANGE her society. Society being a link to blood. This put me at two options heir and witch. But what made me choose was her FAMILIAR which I think IS her society and possibly Stelsa her confirmed matesprit. Both of which restrict her from achieving her goals to change her society. By either not accepting her desire to change it to not sharing/accepting her views this does not match the familiar in an heirs act who act as helpful sidekick. But the witches restricting familiar matches perfectly. This is why tyzias is a witch of blood.

Huh, y’anno this sounds reasonable to me. I think this turned into my main guess for tyzias, good job? I’m not sure why I didn’t parse the familiar thing that way. Nice

On your most recent posts about sylphs you had an image of the archetype and details about it, could you link to where you got it please so we can see the others? Or could you post them please?

yeah its this a roundup of Carol Pearson’s updated Jungian archetypes, heres the pdf:

http://www.uiltexas.org/files/capitalconference/Twelve_Character_Archetypes.pdf

Far as I can tell, they line up roughly, with some areas of
overlap and some archetypes that seem to apply to one or two classes
simultaneously–usually Active/Passive pairs, notably.
But I’m
not exactly 100% sure the one is based on the other at the moment. It’s
close enough to be extremely useful to me, but messy enough that I’m
not inclined to call it literal canon. Also, it’s worth noting
Roleplay blurs the lines on the Class end. IE: When a player roleplays a
Rogue, they end up taking on traits/struggles associated with the
Lover. Rose and Tavros both do this at different points. Here’s a list of correspondences, as I see it:

Innocent-Page
Orphan-Knight
Lover-Rogue
Seeker-Thief

Warrior-Prince
Destroyer-Bard
Creator-Maid
Caregiver-Sylph

Sage-Mage, Seer
Magician-Heir, Witch
Ruler- Muse, Lord, weirdly the Witch kinda jives with some traits here too
Fool/Jester- Bard/Heir,
which is pretty odd too. But then, John and Gamzee are both explicitly
linked to fools and jesters quite notably, so as odd as it is, it
lingers.

What would you say the quest of the Sylph is?

i’m not sure I think of the classes as having “quests”, so much as symbolic motifs and core personality struggles.

I’d say the Sylph’s symbolic motif seems to be to embody the role of a fairy/elemental of their aspect. that can manifest as any member of the “fae”, ie: imaginary creatures. Vampires, demons, literal fairies, angels and the like. As for their personality struggles:

I think this captures the Sylph pretty succintly. Kanaya showcases the addiction to caretaking and codependence more, while Aranea tends to fall more into the Suffering Martyr angle (while we’re at it, so does Vriska), so yeah thats my take

Why cant both vikare and karako be pages of mind

It’s a possibility, but at the moment I’m assuming Hiveswap is trying to avoid classpect redundancies and so give us as much exposition on the system as possible.

Between the two, I think it’s likelier Karako is the true page, because Bronze might plausibly induce it’s caste members to roleplay Page anyway.

For similar reasons, I think it’s likelier Tagora is a true thief and Remele is roleplaying a thief but actually a different class.

There’s a lot of layers to pull apart between these characters and society, so I’m trying to think about it from a lot of angles at once as we try and figure things out.

hey, ive read your theory on boldir and you didnt mention whats the most intriguing line to me – “God, why are you such a fucking waste of space? You could have been gaining some life skills […]”. not only was hussies presumed classpect mentioned, but also the aspect of life. what does this mean? does it tell us anything about the reader? im super interested in your thoughts about it. (-elsterbae from HSA)

i think its a tongue in cheek joke reference but i dont yet have reason to suspect that a “waste of space” is something to take too seriously in a plot impact sense. If I have a guess for the mspa readers classpect its probably thief of blood but i am in nooo way convinced about that yet

Do you think there are certain aspects ir classes that are more predisposed to roleplay another title?

I suspect Rage, as the aspect of theater and acting/performance, might lend itself to a sort of versatility by way of being able to efficiently, if not effectively, play at many different roles. I touched on this heavily in my writing/videos on Gamzee.

By contrast, I suspect Hope might lend itself to an unusual intensity in roleplaying that makes its players less efficient/versatile, but more potent/effective. Eridan’s power boost when he starts roleplaying a Witch or Jake’s power boost coinciding with summoning Dirk as a Witch’s familiar-esque figure are both examples I’d use here.
